Nice but if you added some coffee and smoke effect will be better
I spent 30 minutes on youtube looking at some tutorials, here is my first project.
I know i could have added a few more samples to get rid of the grainy effect on the left side of the cup.
Any feedback?

That's when you start to experiment on your own, and stop following others.
OT: The shadow the cup casts wouldn't be like that if the light is really placed where it is. It'd be angled upwards more, you wouldn't see as much of it, and wouldn't surround the whole left side of the cup.

You can do better in 30 min than I can in a week
Looks a bit too plastic'y for me.
Good whirl.
Good start I think. As mentioned above, the shadow doesnt really fit to the light source. But for only 30mins of YT-tuts, a really good result. Maybe you can make me a decent 3D-Animation in the future?

Nice. Like @Antipathy said, lower some of the reflection. Over all, very nice.
For a first time it is good.
My suggestion is to start getting technical drwings of objects you like (for me were cars and bikes) and start modeling.
Since its hard for a beginner (no sht cap'n obvious) do individual components firs and assemble later.
Also, of you dont have anything in particular you want to model, red some projects but find different ways to model them. Explore the software functions by yourself and dont always stick to tutorials.
Keep it smooth.
