Need to choose a graphics card

I was looking at graphics cards and i saw that the GTX 770 Is better than a R9 280X but i dont know if theres anything better for under £300
Im planning to play BF4 on ultra and Arma 3 on ultra.

The parts im getting:
CPU: Intel i5 4670k
Power Supply: Corsair Builder Series Modular CX600M - 600 Watt 80 PLUS
Motherboard: Z87-G45 GAMING Intel Z87

770 is the way to go with your budget, anything else wouldn't really fit but I recommend waiting until December to see what AMD's Mantle brings to the table.

Yes,im with BigScotiaBhoy on that one,i think the mantle will give you some excellent performance improvements compared to the 770 PLUS the new consoles are with AMD Cards so games might perform better on AMD to fit the consoles.just my idea.

Okay then I might as well wait until around christmas to see what happens and if Mantle Is really helpful I'l get the R9 280X If not I might buy the gtx 770

Don't forget though, Nearly all games made today use NVIDIAs PhysX Tech and other NVIDIA exclusive graphics enhancements. Whilst You may see a slight boost in MANTEL dedicated games, you'll fall short on the others in the future.
