Try using manual map injection method or try thread hijacking
Look at the settings from the master131 injector (extremeinjector v2.0)

When I do that it says: Extreme Injector failed to inject 'simple_d3d_nik0515.dll' into the target process. Try running the injector as administrator and try again.

I always run the injector in admin mode and this is on manual map, with threat hijacking it doesn't do anything.

Had the same problem, got it to work by ticking Auto-Inject and Standard Injection on from the settings. After that open up CoD4 and it should automatically inject it with no errors.

Error is pretty obvious, reinstall DirectX or download the DLL manually.

Download this d3dx9_42.dll in dll. site then
1.Open WINDOWS folder (finde location where you instal windows)
2.Open System32 (in this folder copy/paste this d3dx9_42.dll )

Ok.... All that happens with this hacks injection on Windows 8.1 64-bit is just that the memory of the game with the .dll just can't be overwritten thus then causes the game to crash.... So why not in the next update fix the issue for Windows 8.1 users so that the memory of the .dll to the game on that OS can be overwritten for the hack to work an not cause the game to crash? [: that would be nice as I use Pinguy OS/Windows 8.1 dual-boot
