    New computer (At some point)

I'm going to upgrade mine in a while and I'd like some feedback on my choice.
Do note that I live in Sweden so the prices vary a lot from yours as well as to what I can get.

I don't like fancy cases, they serve no purpose.
I like sleek, simple and well ventilated with noise-cancellation.

My idea with this is to have a fast-booting PC and that's why I picked a SSD for boot - the reason to why I don't have anything larger on that drive is because you shouldn't fill the OS drive with tons of shit. The only thing I will fill the OS drive with is the OS and possibly AV as well as some other must have programs.

The game and work drive is limited to games that need more juice than the rest, such as Skyrim or any other open world or longloading games.
As well as the full collection of Adobe programs, they could sure use the boost.
I think 500GB will do more than enough to start with, I can expand at a later point.

The storage drive isn't just a storage drive, it's the main and daily usage drive.
That's why I picked the Black Edition of the WD's.

    Here are the specs.
    Case: Fractal Design Define R4
    OS-Drive: Samsung SSD EVO Basic 840-Series 120GB
    Game&Work-Drive: Samsung SSD EVO Basic 840-Series 500GB
    Storage-Drive: 4TB WD Black 7200rpm 64MB
PSU: XFX Black Edition 1000W 80+ Platinum
    Motherboard: MSI Z87-S02
    RAM: A-Data 16GB (2x8GB) CL9 1600MHz XPG
CPU: Intel Core i7 4770K 3.5 GHz (Haswell) (QC for those interested)
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 780 3GB

It might also be good to note that I'm going to upgrade the fans in it when the new fans I want hit the shelves, Dead Silence.
Rubber coated fans that have a dbA of about 15 (A whisper is about 20 - 25 if I'm not mistaken).

    Feedback?

I forgot to mention that I get a few games with all of these too.
    Batman Arkham Origin
    Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag
    Splinter Cell Blacklist

Might be worthwhile to note that I already have 2,5TB worth of space here already.

You might like to check out the thermaltake urban s31 tower, very nice looking case with great noise cancelation.
Also what do you need 16gb ram for?
Find my latest releases on my YT:

Heck if I know, I normally multitask and have loads of stuff running at the same time.
Such as big projects in both music and image applications.
Usually while I'm listening to music and browsing the web and having some game running in the background which I'm going back and forth with.

I'm one of those people you'd call enthusiast.
I don't build because I simply need, I build it because I want it to last and because it's a good investment.

    To put it short, enthusiasm.
    And games.

As for the case there, it looks alright - still haven't ordered so there's time to decide.
I want it to be silent as fuck but still well ventilated, don't forget it should be easy to put it together and the cables shouldn't be all over the place inside - like mine is now.

So I only have one little criticism of your build, and its not even a total criticism its more of a question of reliability. I saw that you choose a 4tb storage drive honestly of course it will work well but its known that hard drives that usually extend above 1tb can start to see a loss of stability and reliability. So my question to you is do you think you would find it a better idea to instead invest into 4 different 1tb black WD hard drives in a raid rather than just a bulk drive? It's also possible (im not sure of the prices in Sweden, and this may require a bit more fact checking) that doing it as 4 different hard drives also lowers the price per gb.

This is what I came here for.
I think that in todays day and age, that it's not that bad anymore.
It might've been like that when the larger drives started to come out.

If I'm not mistaken, the loss of GB in conversion will be higher if I go 4x1 instead of 1x4.
If you know the difference between commercial size and actual size.

When you buy 1tb you in reality only get like 931gb.
The loss will be bigger, but not substantial.

I don't think I have anything to worry about there.
I'll keep backups, and if it fails I'll just trade it in, there's like 3 - 5 years warranty.

The loss of GB of four drives will be 274.72GB
And the loss in one drive will be 274.71GB

I'm certain that particular drive will be fine.
Here's some more info on it.
    https://www.storagereview.com/wd_blac...iew_wd4003fzex

If you're still hanging with me, my writing is messy today.
The price of it will be greatly exceeded by four drives rather than one, by about $100.

I was thinking default as I wont be overclocking the CPU, that way the computer will live longer and if so happens a fan dies (has happened once or twice for me), the CPU wont burn up.

However, in the case of the GPU, if it so happens that it starts making a lot of noise or overheats I will consider the kraken.

The H110 looked alright as well actually.
