For all the people criticizing amine, I was like you once. I hated anime and always wondered why people would watch it.

Then one day, my friends forced me to watch SnK (Attack on Titan) and I instantly loved it. SnK is probably one of the best animes out there. Just watch at least two episodes and you'll be hooked.

And that persuades people to like anime how exactly? I love the fact that every anime person you talk to says this sentence. "I was like you once." Seriously.

Guess what? I watched 1 episode of Full Metal Alchemist and I couldn't make it through, couldn't take the shit seriously and found their voices annoying. Also, I felt really uncomfortable watching it because it didn't feel right being at my age and watching cartoons.

I did the same with Attack on Titan, watched an episode with a friend who is a fan, could not take it seriously and he yelled at me for laughing at a serious scene.

Cartoons? Ha. Well anyways, the voice actors for FMA weren't anything great so that's probably why. I'll recommend Fate/Zero to you, it's got a good cast of voice actors and it'd probably suit you more. It starts getting good at episode 2, when all the action starts.
