not bad.
hows the case lookin?
Sup. I've already built this PC but I'd like to know your opinions on it, maybe a rating and stuff like that.
I've also shared it so that anybody else can get some ideas of what to use in their own builds.
The Components:
Case: Fractal Design Define R4 Black Pearl Mid Tower Silent Case
PSU: Corsair CP-9020048-UK Builder Series CX 600W Power Supply
HDD: Western Digital Caviar 1TB Green SATA III - 6Gb/s Hard Drive
CPU: Intel CPU Haswell i5-4670K 3.4GHz Socket 1150 Quad Core
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler
RAM: Corsair Memory Vengeance Jet Black Low Profile 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 MHz
Graphics Card: MSI Radeon R9 280X Gaming 3G Twin Frozr IV OC PCI Express Graphics Card
It runs every game I play on ultra settings and maintains a framerate above 60 fps. It's also really quiet whilst still maintaining low temperatures.
Let me know what you think!
not bad.
hows the case lookin?
What about have 16 gb for the future?
You should have a SSD for a fast start up no?
Case is looking stunning and sleek! Loved the smooth front cover and having with the option of adding optical drives or whatever you want is perfect for me.
I'm thinking about possibly adding an SSD in the future. I don't think I need 16 GB at the moment although the motherboard allows up to 4 sticks of RAM and even supports SLI and Crossfire if I really wanted to go overboard someday.
Not too shabby, when you get to the point of being able to run any game you play on ultra, and average 60+ FPS, it's time to start upgrading cosmetics :P. Or at least that's the way i think lol.

I believe it is a good build. However i would also like to know what motherboard you are using. I think unless i missed it you are not overclocking so i would find the hyper evo useless as the stock intel cooler works quite well from my experience in building computers. Post if you overclocked. 9-8/10build
my opinion:
-did you really need 16 gb or ram as your not a graphic designer or movie editor
-that money could have been spent on an ssd or even upgrading the gpu
-low ram speed may hurt in future could have bought say 2400 mhz 8gb ram for the price of your 16gb
-otherwise good build
That case is awesome, its the one i've been wanting to use on my next build.
-well double post first of all..
-second unless he wants to spend alot of money to upgrade his processor and mobo the ddr3 will be still present, and you did not pay attention to the other options did you?
- how about the ssd upgrade hmm? or possible better gpu hmm?? instead of criticizing others read what they write first.
-ddr4 speeds can be reached with ddr 3 right now soo go figure
I think everyone has his own preferences I guess. I'd prefer going going DDR3 unless i know Price to Performance DDR4 is going to be a really huge step.
Higher Clock Speed is better. Please keep an eye on MOBO Compatibility.
If I was you I would have changed that 6 TB HDD to 2 x 3 TB so if one fails you aren't screwed. Plus you could get them higher speeds each at 7200 RPM , then you could RAID them and Partition them.

Glad you went with the MSI version of the 280x, it has 2 huge fans and is super quiet. Couldn't take it since my case wasn't wide enough (your card is short and wide) so I settled with the Gigabyte r9 280x which barely fits into my case..
