Hello.

I was banned for posting an external download link for a HoN hack I released some time back. I would like to be unbanned so I can post a release for a tool for the WoW 1.12.1 client.

If memory serves, in the post which led to my being banned, I had attached binaries to the thread but gave a link to where people could view the source.

If linking to the source is prevented, feel free to ignore this post, ban this account, or whatever you want to do. I plan to link to the source code for this release I would like to post here, too.

There's nothing in the rules of this website which states that you are prohibited to post source code.
In fact, I'm sure releasing source code is even better, because then it's easier to determine if the release was harmful or not.

Was there maybe some external links in your codes?

If my memory serves me and I didn't misunderstand you, I recall that you aren't allowed to have your program call out and fetch something outside of the archive that you upload. Because it gives a misleading scan and understandably could be interpreted as an attempt to do something malicious.

If you mean that my program downloaded updates or something, no, it did not. There was certainly nothing malicious or even questionable about the release. It was an open source hack for Heroes of Newerth which is no longer even available.
