Wrong. VAC is not active in the Main Menu of MW3. Use that hack in the Main Menu -> Close the hack -> Enjoy.

I know that VAC is not active in the main menu in MW3 but they could add an anti cheat for the main menu(very unlikely) and then the hack could be detected.
