    I looked at the editing tutorial, I have photo shop I know how to color and switch the textures but, I tried making a G36E into a M417, and the textures came out all wrong.

    but when you extract the files in the "M" you get LTB files, not rez -_-

    when you rename the ltb files of one gun to another, it changes the look of the gun.

    it will still read the same texture, so it wraps around the model weird (cause its not the model the dtx is made for)

    so you also have to rename the texture file from the first gun to the second gun too.

    Ya know corn I believe he is talking about the extracted files.

    I am having the same problem when i extract the Module's theres like 7 diffrent modules per gun.

    CH
    PVMLA
    PVMSH
    CM
    Ani
    Anibase

    Bla bla bla

    I believe the question we are asking you guys is which one of the files are we supose to be switching/injecting to change the Rate of fire or ingame module.

    If you just change them all you get texture glitched-

    If theres no way to keep original texture and change module do we just change all the module files then rename the texture from the moded gun to the modules?

    example for m16a3 i converted all the modules from p90 now my texture is all ate up i have to switch the m16a3 texture to the texture from the [p90 ?

    And that will change rate of fire starter weapon and make the texture look right in the game?

    Or is it just 1 or 2 of these files we need to switch and inject to adjust?

    when you extract any files you don't get .rez you get either .dtx or .ltb and you rename both M and T file if you want to change the shape and textures

    rename them all in the same type
    though im not sure how to change law to m32 because m32 have
    CH
    PVMLA
    PVMSH
    CM
    and law only have
    PVMSH
