Anyone know if there is a Steam version for the Steam client (since it creates your account based on steamapi and has a unique client as a result)?
I'll see if I can use K Relay first though (should work).

Try the swf, disable your AV (possible issue, usually not the case)...and help us help you by posting what the error was.

Welp, you actually cant use K Relay with the Steam version because the Steam version doesn't have the option to play via Proxy..*******.

@Facasformice : You have to log in via the Steam client, since it uses your client to validate your account via SteamWorks.
