Thanks for the replys everyone, They did give me some really good wax with the kit I got. The pain isnt too bad now, just my teeth are sore and shit. I've been sticking to soup/noodles for a couple days.

Edit: also btw every time you get a check you will get either new colors, potentially a powerchain (tightens braces pretty much to do some shit to it, i never payed attention but they do hurt) or a rotating shitty thing that makes one specific tooth hurt like fuck for a couple days.

You just live with the pain for approx. 3-5 days. After that you won't even notice them anymore.

I went through braces from the start of my 6th year of school up until my 9th. The pain is really only bad at the beginning and a few days after each adjustment, and you'll get used to it. And you'll be so glad you did it.
