I keep hitting the same wall!!!! Can't figure out how to cross mod

I have attempted switching 1 by 1 all SMG rez files into MG rez files, yet weapon is invisible, or game crases ... best case scenario: no change at all.

Someone plz have some mercy and tell me which files can be ignored during the transfer/renaming process? I understand that not many people have looked into machine guns modding yet, and I would like to Pioneer this area and contribute to the community of mpgh with some interesting releases since im full of ideas.

i can succesfully mod same category weps, just unable to figure out cross-modding *without having to open 3d softwares*

Someone have mercy of this noob and trow some tips onto this thread.

FYI: I attempted cross-breeding a MK.48 (host wep) with P90 (guest wep) to increase ammo capacity while retaining same recoil? . accuracy and more dmg since mk.48 does 51 dmg vs p90 (35 dmg)

Injecting (similarly named p90 files):

MK48_ANIBASE.LTB
**********Had no effect on the behavior/performance of the mk48

First time: Game crashed everytime after loading a game (ex: SnD, Elim, Elim Pro)

not all will work here are a couple that will work that you can do
take ANI_G_GLOCK18C_CH.LTB and rename it to ANI_G_KUKHRI_CH.LTB
it will make your kukuri swing ultra fast
you can also use ANI_G_GLOCK18C_CH.LTB and rename it to SPAS12_ANIBASE.LTB im prety sure its this one but it makes the spaw shoot ultra fast but the problem is the gun is almost invisible and reloading is a bitch
as it takes more then double the reload time

its a simple trial and error thing
test things if they dont work then odds are you didnt screw up they just dont work
123 for the reload did it take 3 times as long for you?
i managed to cross an M590 with a K2 but for every 3 shells reloaded only 1 shell showed up in the mag =/

Cool, according to 123, just changing the anibase i could affect the RoF? (swing means rate of fire correct?) Thats 50% of my question answered right there, now gotta figure out which one affects recoil and/or accuracy or both.
