This is a multi-purpose thread to address the state of the News FO, where we're going, and get some community input as well as maybe a few dedicated, inclined writers to join.

First and foremost there has been a prolonged inactivity from the News FO, for a reason that many of you aren't aware of: the News FO is voluntary work that its members dedicate a piece of their time to without any type of incentive, we do this out of our own "want to" for the lack of a better term. We are not given staff privileges, we do not have a bigger avatar dimension, we are solely members from the community that write the news that were given a tag (a very long time ago) due to our hard work.

Where are we going? Well I'm still feeling around in the dark. There has been rapid change of leadership in probably the last month between 2 people not including me and this puts the whole team in an awkward position because we are all on different pages and losing hope that the news will ever continue just as most of you are. I'm trying to catch up to where KTN was right now.

As for the community I'm really big on what you guys think. There hasn't been many threads like this since I ran it and I think there really should because how are we supposed to know what you want? Please, if you have something to say about the news, don't hold back. Give us your suggestions and feedback, criticism and give us the opportunity to improve based on your thoughts. Questions and concerns can be left on this thread as well.

If you are interested in joining I'm not going to make an application format, you're going to PM me what you think an application should entail for a position like this (think what being on the News FO entails) and fill it out. Only thing I ask is you include what you'd prefer to do (ie; a section or what you enjoy writing about or could write about) and if you can be held to a weekly deadline.
