Never really played any of them, but I can say some of my friends have praised ArcheAge rather highly. So I'd try that.
So everyone I'm really determined to play a new mmorpg and I would love to get some feedback and help. I'm debating on FFXIV, Guild Wars 2, and ArcheAge. I'm looking for a game that has more to do than just fighting and killing. I love the professions and jobs of the everyday life. So either back up one of the games I've previously mentioned or tell me about other games and why I should play them! Thanks for all the help in advance and I cant wait to see what everyone says.

ONLY HAVE ONE SKYPE-I HAVE BEEN HACKED RECENTLY, TRADE CAREFULLY
BEFORE TRADING WITH ME EMAIL ME AT(remove asterisks):
You could check out "The Secret World", which offers:
roles in a party (tank, healer, dps)
various locations
one chapter is "dedicated" H.P. Lovecraft
lots of dialogues
various types of quests (even puzzles)
the game seems totally p2w free (there are various types of currency, to get rare/good gear you have to work for it yourself); bots/hackers seem nonexistent as well
the community seems helpful/friendly as well: when u enter a dungeon (these require parties due to difficulty) you'll be likely explained what to do etc.
the game is not hacknslash (cant use a controller)
it's available on steam and you pay once (but you have to pay for additional content known as "issues")

I've had a go at Archeage. It was a really good experience, but then it started to get boring because although I played A LOT but I could never find anyone online (not my friends, but other players).
You could try Oldschool Runescape
You can try arun's game, under my signature.
FFXIV is better, but it's boring to only pve.
I Prefure a FPS game to be fair , but just use google and search for the most popular ones , sorry for spelling
you can try guildwars2 (hear that he gonna be playforfree soon)
also black desert (p2p)
or blade&soul (gonna be freetoplay when the game is fully relased).
i hate MMORPG they are boring .. no offence
“I don't care if you're black, white, straight, bisexual, gay, lesbian, short, tall, fat, skinny, rich or poor. If you're nice to me, I'll be nice to you. Simple as that.”
Bit late but here's my take:
FFXIV has by far the best / most consistent job shit to do. I liked it, it looks pretty, it's very fun, and people generally need your crafted shit.
Guild Wars 2 has by far the best combat system in any MMO cept maybe C9. Simple, easy to use, fun to play. However, mainly in pvp.
WoW has the best PVE content of any game. Nothing touches it. Not even close. It has the best raids by far, it has the best world events, it has the biggest area of exploration ever, and it's really just a solid game overall and runs on shit PC's.
I've tried many MMORPGS after WoW and i couldn't find nothing to replace it , but if you have some money to waste ArcheAge is the right choice
WoW or nothing, never played any better MMORPG and I dont believe there will be better anytime soon. MMORPG's are worse than drugs though, I mean, obviously... Drugs are best.
Honestly the absolute best MMORPG that exists right now is Black Desert. Hands down fact because it is only in beta and has already caught up, if not surpassed, every MMORPG out there. At least my opinion anyways

Out of those 3 I would 200% choose Guild Wars 2. It's definately the most polished and most fair when it comes to the cash shop elements.
ArcheAge used to be really good and it had high hopes but it's extremely pay to win. You can pay money and get the best gear in the game and destroy everyone in PvP. Really shouldn't waste time on games like that.
If you're looking for something more casual try "Trove" on the free to play section of stream. Easy to play, community is amazing and Pvp is coming very soon.
It's more of a collecting and social game than anything but give it a try if that's your thing.
