Are there any measures I can take to prevent being VAC'ed?

    Hey, \

As you might have guessed, I'm new to hacking and was wondering if there were any VAC-preventative measures.

For example, Enigma Protector, that sort of thing.

Also, how long can/should you use a particular public hack before its detected?

    Thanks.

Personally i use Enigma protector beta version(I've read somewhere the full version provides better coverage), & never exceeded 4 days of a public hack. Check frequently on the forum to spot if anyone else posted "DETECTED DO NOT USE HAXXX I GOT BANNED". But of course you gotta judge the user's post based off post counts(?) & validity (Screen shots of ban from in-game & steam profile).
