if not which Language should i learn ...

Depends on what kind of software you wish to develop.

I think it could be worthy
With java (and then javascript, pretty same mechanism) you could do some interesting things

Any language is worth knowing, if you have the time, master them all.
It's kind of like pokemon, some are good against certain enemies (Anti-cheats) while some are less effective.

But by standard through the past couple of years, I'd say the most used has been C++ compiled projects.

I'd say he starts with something simple as pie, Html/Php after head over to Java, then follow by doing Python(what i've done), then follow by C++ As most of the developers have a hard time getting to learn C++(Not really hard though, Just takes a lottt of frustration)
