Nah but it has cussed allot of harm with community websites i.e facebook some of the things that have happend is messed meaning people have used facebook to abuse people , stalk people and some serious stuff has happened , only saying this as came across a video about it today ah

I kind of hate how people just stare at their phones or tablets 24/7 now. I do like being able to google things on the spot. I think it brings both good and bad things just like anything else. Nothing is truly 100% good or bad. Not to mention good and bad are just descriptions of opinions, but that's a whole different debate.

I believe that the internet helps increase the knowledge of the world around us, so in terms of education, it's great. The problem is that all that information is so accessible to us now that we no longer need to lean on one another for help in the same way we once did. Individuals prosper, but I think we lose the connections to one another that make us social beings. Just take a look around you while eating dinner at a restaurant. Look closely and you'll see young couples who no longer stare into each other's eyes as they engage with one another. The only thing keeping them company are the cell phones in their hand. That will not bode well for future generations.

The Internet mostly brings harm because its the same fucked up media like radio/newspaper just with even more fakes, lies, ideology and conspiracy. There is like 50/50 truth and lie so its hard to handle in terms of information integrity.

Also the internet provides something even more harmful and that is anonymity. You can bully anything you want. Be it a group of people with a certain opinion or a platform for esotheric people or celebrities or politicians or just the fat girl in ur class.

The Internet in theory is a wonderful place but since there is no waranty for quality its hell at the same time.

It harms people in the fact that more false information can spread much more rapidly. It is good for the same reason. However, we've come to a point where some people can't live without it and it's become a part of our lives.

Agree with the point that ppl cant live without and that its part of our lives. I think maybe one could make an argument about "elites" trying to make us depend upon the www, gps, social networks, etc. make us unfunctionable without any of it. GPS were nonexistent years ago, now everyone uses it
