Pretty much this.
To put what is really true into perspective, no one really had a belief in God too too much until the middle ages when people were brutally tortured and killed for not believing in Christianity or Catholicism. People converted to these religions so that they wouldn't be killed, and some even became delusional, force feeding their religion to their children, making their children delusional, the process goes on and on.
This is a bit rude, so if you're Christian or Catholic, you're not gonna want to read this. Frankly, I don't believe in a God, but if one were to exist, somewhere somehow, I would accept my doubt and so be it if I were to go to hell, because I admitted I was wrong and if I wasn't forgiven by "the all forgiving father" it would kind of prove that the people, and the entity of the Christian and Catholic religion are dimwitted and deserve no recognition.
