No .dll injection is not detected. Its certain injectors and dll's that are detected. Anyone who says otherwise is mistaken. If you use a private menu and kernel injection with xenos you would prob be good. There's always risk with anything tho.

You can inject DLL files into any process you wanted. What you DO have to change however, is your hooking method and what you're hooking.

You can inject a simple DLL file into Notepad for example, and have it write to a file but that's all it will do. You'll need to reverse engineer the game in question to find what you want to change (reading/writing to data structures for example. You'll need the offset of it in memory and what values it takes etc).

If you're just going to change values, you might as well just use Cheat Engine. It'll be easier.
