My relatives say that killing gays etc. is done away with in the bible can you show a verse that could prove this? (hopefully not).

It does, but if you wish to counter that you can always play the contradiction game.
Example: Jesus said love one another or w/e, so therefore this law is invalid.

Or you can play the "arbitrary law seperation" where you just ignore god's commandments because of "jesus reasons".
Example: X law is ceremonial or X law only applies to the jews, christians don't have to obey those laws.(they do, they just don't want to).



Eh, really at the end of the day you'll find one of these three as the response.

You'd have to ask them about that shit, because god's laws (as far as my understanding) always were dependent upon the contract with his people, not their establishment of a temple.


Though you might want to consider that they might be jewish-atheistic/agnostic, so they don't really care about the laws to begin with and kind of "half-ass" the stuff.

At that point really there isn't much to do.
