Some guy trying to chargeback

Sold a csgo item to a guy and he is now trying to chargeback. I have both proof of the conversation and that I sent the item onto the buyer. Do you think I have a chance to win the case against PayPal? I have sent the proof into PayPal resolution center

As long as you have clear proof that you sold it and that he received the item, you should be good.

Just provide as many details as possible. He doesn't have proof that you scammed him.

You better call paypal asap. sometimes whoever responds first & provides most convincing details tips the balance to their favor.

My friend sold game credits for a fps game on eBay, (something digital) provided conversation proofs and kept sticking with it, he won 2 days later.

So this looks good for you as long as you have ALL the proof you can get, and keep calling Paypal about it.

If you didnt scam him
there is no proof that he can show..

Thanks for all the support guys. First of all it wasnt with someone on MPGH. Just found out that he uses Stolen PayPal accounts to buy these apparently as I talked to an experienced trader who traded with him before and we saw that the two PayPal accounts he paid with were different. When I looked up the guys email he was a German auctioneer. I will ring PayPal tomorrow explaining everything but for the moment I have submitted all the conversation and proof I sent the knife. Lets hope all plays out well! Feel bad for the guy whos PayPals account was comprimsed though. But I need the money as my PayPal balance is now -499 euro :/. Plus I was paid and released the knife so its not my fault his PayPal got comprimsed

I don't think you've said whether or not you did, but when you're selling stuff just don't take paypal unless it's sent as a gift.

An unauthorized access case opened against you.
If a buyer has opened an unauthorized access case against you, this method is for you. If you inform the support team to check the IP logs, you will be able to prove that unauthorized access was not made on the buyer’s account. Be 100% sure that the case was a chargeback scam attempt and not a real unauthorized case.
