This was the one I was looking for.

No. But there is a loop hole in quests that require AC items as requirements. AE added a feature back in 2016 where you can re-buy AC tagged items that are sold, used in merges, and in quest turn ins (The latter may have been an oversight). You can buy-back items used in merges and quest turn ins by going to the account manager page. For example; the Tendurrr Pet (now known as Tendurrr The Assistant), in the Kiss the Void quest from Nulgath can be re-bought every time you turn the quest in. meaning you only need to farm for the pet once, leaving Fragments of chaos and Betrayal blades the only drops you're rally farming for.

It works for AC items that don't use ACs to obtain (like the dragonfire of nulgath or tendurrr the assistant) so al you need to do is obtain those items once and after that just use the buyback function.

It DOES NOT work for miscellaneous items (like Uni 13)

It also doesn't work for items you've sold as non-ac tagged only to have their ac tag added later(I know from painful personal experience ;c)
