New Donator Rank?

Ever thought about adding a new donator rank? I want to donate more to MPGH, but I actually want to get recognized for it. $25 isn't much and many of us would pay more for a higher rank / more permissions.

The biggest thing I would pay for is being able to edit the 1st post in my thread without having to contact a staff member.

The main reason the editing your thread is disallowed by users is not because the forum isn't capable of doing it. It's meant for scammer's so they don't edit their post adding new rules/TOS to their thread to get away from a scam or something along those lines of thinking.

(At least that's what i believe.)

its so scammers can't update their thread and take off their skype. since you can just look up their current skype it usually pops up on the SE.

Regardless if there were more permissions, I would still pay for a higher rank than $25

As I said it was just a suggestion, I'm still open to even just a new rank without any new permissions.

Would be a nice thing indeed, but I doubt that it will be implemented.

Maybe A new rank called VIP or something like that?
the maximum size of the image is 200x300 or something like that?
And maybe image title and text title?
That would be cool

Even minions/middleman do not have 200x300.
Only Moderators or higher do.

When you "donate" you are donating to help the community regardless of what rank you are given.
If you want a higher rank and you donate for that purpose, that would be considered as "purchasing".

I don't see how it could be detrimental to the site, you get more donations to upgrade the server or whatever. Even if you don't add more permissions, I would probably still donate more for a higher rank.

The donator rank on MPGH is really just to show that you have contributed. What more can you ask for... this site allows you to download hacks that are safe.

There is no need to show who contributed more.

Donating = expecting nothing in return. You're just wanting to pay.

If you want to show that you've donated more, just donate and then post in the donation thread the amount... no one cares how much you donate. They only care that you have supported the site.

[+] Donating to MPGH is to show and give support / they reward this with but not limited to a nice colored name, larger avatar, Donor Image Title, and an unlimited amount of name / title changes.

[+] Just because you donate more money does not essentially mean you will not scam another MPGH User ; this means your suggestion of being able to edit it yourself would possibly give you the option to say one thing then change it whenever ( Leading to an easy way to scam people )

I guarantee you that if there was no rank for donating, 90% of the people who've donated wouldn't have donated anything.
