Try to look into building one, I built mine for roughly $900 one just like it would cost around $2,000 retail price. It's a lot cheaper to build your own and you can customize it, and change it in the future, I'd give it a try.

i5, a decent enough gpu, 8gb of ram, 1-2tb of storage, decent mobo, good ventalited case, decent fans then you're sorted

Edit: https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/...een_AMD_8-Core this has £500 off making it in your budget. This is pre-built so enjoy!

is this including a monitor and mouse, keyboard etc?

Look at the motherboard box or manual it should tell you or go on the manufacturer's website
4 main things to look out for:
    1. Socket support.
    2. Chipset support.
3.Motherboard wattage support must support the TDP of given CPU.
Listed on most manufacturer's websites, even OEMs like HP.
    4. Bios support.
This is easy with a motherboard you bought non-OEM. Simply visit the Motherboard manufacturer's website, look up your Motherboard model and look for "CPU support".
This is more difficult with OEM motherboards. (motherboards that came with computers purchased from the likes of HP, Acer etc. These are OEM manufacturers) They will only ever officially support the CPUs that they came with originally. There is always the odd chance that if the chipset is compatible, the CPU will work, regardless. If the bios is
