question:reduce lag files?

combat arms use to have txt. files that u could use to make the map gray and white and u dotn lagg at all. but they changed em or took them out, is there any other way to do this? or reduce lagg by changing the files

Uhh, they just deleted a certain file that took away all the textures.

Simple really. Just remove a few of the texture files.. let me see if i cant pinpoint one for you. I believe removing Textures.rez will make your entire map gray. You might just want to rename the file to Textures.bak to make sure you that wont lose it in the case that you need it back.

Then it could be something like MAP_T_PV, iirc.

Search 'TEXTURES'
And too make your character Gray move these
Chars_T_Hand.rez
Chars_T_Body.rez
Leave the other ones
