Looks like a REALLY good series, but this anime has like 30 different parts. Can someone tell me the 1st seasons name? So I can start this anime. (Confused on the name, and I know people in the anime section watch this anime)

Watch it in release order rather than Chronological, since not all of it is out yet(plus it's better that way)

Also, the series hops around in time frames. Here is a chart that shows where you're at. There are spoilers obviously, so I wouldn't recommend looking at it till you're caught up to Owarimonogatari(current) but it's worth having around.

The main character is Araragi. There is no romance, other than a relationship between Araragi and Senjougahara. He still lusts after Hanekawa, but would never actually do anything. The only female showing interests in him more than friends is Hanekawa, Kanbaru, and obviously his girlfriend. You could imply *spoiler* Hachikuji

It depends on the time frame. Just watch the series. If you're asking these questions I'm guessing you haven't watched it.

Kanbaru is never lusted after or is ever hinted at being more than friends by anyone but Kanbaru.(because she's a pervert)
Hanekawa is not in the race anymore

Friends with benefits is still a relationship, even if its not one that he has with Senjo. They're obviously not going anywhere, it's just comedy.

Empire mentioned Shinobu vs. Senjo and it was going to be in his unreleased books.

Hachikuji? I know that. She still shows emotion towards him that could eventually lead up to something more. It's the idea, not the current action.

Ononoki just doesn't show emotion.
