I hope you do realize that Republicans control both the House and the Senate. There is no way in hell that Bernie Sanders can get any of his social programs passed. Only reason we have the Affordable Care Act is because we had Democrats controlling both the House and the Senate when it was introduced. Had Obama submitted it now, it would burn to flames. Isn't this what they do in Europe? I know for sure Germany has high taxes that pay for a lot of social programs like daycares for kids and free college tuition. Yet their economy seems fine while America's is seen as getting shittier and shittier.
