Safe to use models online?

Hello, is it safe to use custom models/cars, etc, online?

that doesnt mess with any handling or anything. just the model. Do they scan files and auto-ban you?.

saw some great ones, but i wanted to ask first.

Hello Skumek, if you are using an up-to-date mod to use a custom vehicle, it should be fairly undetected, however if you are CUSTOMIZING your car a lot, there is a risk as GTA 5 will check for value changes, and if those value changes are too big it will trigger their automated cheat detection system, which will auto ban you. Happened to me once when I was fully modifying cars and selling them. Again if you are just spawning in UFO's or something random in a private session, most likely nothing will happen to you, however if it's saving or modifying a car you have, there is a risk. It's not a huge risk, but it's definitely a risk.

They don't scan files regularly, however, be aware of ban waves as they scan ALL of your memory.
