Overlay & VAC

I was using a crosshair overlay program called Xhair Pro v2.3 while playing Counter Strike.


I was wondering if I am going to be VAC banned for using it, it just draw's an overlay in the center of my desktop screen, I'm pretty sure it doesn't inject anything or change anything within Counter Strike. Has VAC been known to ban for overlay crosshairs? I stopped I'm just kind of paranoid I suppose. Also how long is the wait time for a VAC ban typically? Thank you so much!

I doubt you'll get banned if the program is only used to display a crosshair.

If the program has other hack-like features you may have a change of getting vac banned.
