    A 20 dollar dedicated sound card is better than onboard sound most of the time.

    I may be entirely incorrect but I believe all kinds of sound cards are going well with your motherboard, its gonna take awhile to find a good one though.

    A 20$ sound card is either (A) going to sound like complete garbage and make your audio sound terrible or (B) will work for a year and break because of low quality. With hardware, it's very rare that low budget parts work well in the long run. I mean sure, low budget peripherals will work just fine (Examples include Turtle Beaches, Cosiar Mice/Keyboards, etc.) for a long time, but those aren't hardware components.

    I mean if you're on a budget sure go with the cheapy one. I just was giving you really nice quality for a decent price.
