:O! omg maybe iron sights are possible!

you know... i was thinking today while playing CA, i had my m4a1 (lol such a noob) and then suddenly the itech bugged and it was gone from the weapon, but i could still scope and then i thought... MAN it'd be SO COOL to have iron sights!

so well i dont have any modding experience other than swapping skins and injecting and stuff, but wouldnt it be possible to make (the itech for example) invisible while it is mounted on the gun AND when you scope, you swap the skin it has for that of a custom made iron sight? D: i think it would be possible after some hard work i guess, of course it could only be for one gun at a time since it would be odd to have an m4 iron sight on an AK..
oh well, just thought i might share this and inspire someone to *cough cough*make the mod*cough*

and of course, it wouldnt let you see a lot of stuff in the screen while scoping... but its not like youre supposed to be scoped all the time is it? lol

Delete the .rez with the scopes models in it, done and done.

Actually no... Um gallo, in the scopes .rez file, it's not just scopes, it has indicators, displays and a bunch of other stuff. You can't just delete the whole .rez file.

Change the scopes to looks like ironsights, delete the model of scopes REZ, boom done. Too much work involved.

Not really. I've never made a mod that took more than 5 minutes and actually worked.

you could replace the itech zoom .ltb with a blank text file
in theory it would work

Lol options.rez controls your visual attachments. Delete that and you cant see the weapon's scope and suppresor. Now photoshop an iron sight. Done and done.
