What is a GOOD way to convert ebooks to audio books?

The problem with doing this is it's a tedious listen. Imagine a bot reading to you kind of like you hear on Twitch with text to speech donations. It's really annoying.

That being said, one of the easiest ways is Windows now has text to speech, at least my Win 7 does. I have to imagine that there's text to speech apps for android and ios these days that would accomplish the same thing but i'm not certain.
