Okay so you like just started. The good thing is that you haven't been tainted with shit.

The bad thing is, when you say your genre is "anything to be honest" I could just list you 1000 shows of any genre and you would watch it, so to save us both time just look through my list and anything 5-6+ I would probably recommend. umm..... i would advice u with noragami (both seasons), haikyuuu (both seasons), parasyte : the maxim (the name in japanese is Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu), daily life of highschool boys, stiens gate, and i am guessing you have already watched one punch man.

I'll suggest Jojo's, Katanagatari, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

Also if you want to learn Japanese just get Rossetta stone.
