My rule of thumb is if a person wanting recommendations doesn't list a favorite genre, just list the best anime, period. That's because when I myself seek out anime, I never say to myself, "gee, what mediocre anime should I watch next?"

I can whip up an impressive list if I put the thought into it, but the OP has all but abandoned this thread.
