Infamous Mod Menu v4.0 not working properly

Hi, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but there is an issue with the infamous mod menu that's compatible with the 1.31 update. I extracted the files and did what was asked, i ran the injector and it injected successfully, then i pressed F4 when i was ingame online and the mod menu did show up however I can't go up / down or choose anything on the mod menu. I checked the readme and xml file for the controls of the menu (numpad 8,2,4,6) but that didn't work. What do i do, can anyone tell me? I can set up a join.me or tv session to show you
