Speed vs Strength (Death fight)

So which is more important, considering there are no rules and both are equals. I personally think speed would out weigh the strength considering the speed user don't delay to deliver the killing blow (like you see in the movies)

Speed is okay, I'd prefer to be on bath salts vs strength.

Sometimes kids with speed can't even lay a punch. Therefore knowing how to punch is more important then anything else. You will automatically move faster when you're scared , and moving fast without punches won't get you anywhere.

Avast ye! I know from me many years as a pyrate that neither speed nor strength be greater than the other, it requires balance. When I be sweepin' the deck of a Spanish fighter I would have to attack them quick an' hard if I were to survive. Other times when me crew an' I would scuttle a Man o' War, we would get close to them an' make em' feed the fishes with a few hard shots with some of our best monkeys.

As i said buddy, both are equal. So they have equal talent/skill. The only difference being that once uses Speed, and one uses strength (not that both don't use the other skill, they just specify in that particular catogary.)

Strength IMO, as it enables far more damage to be done, as well as being able to soak up more damage before succumbing. A true strongman can be 2x or 3x or more stronger than the average man, though a quick fighter can't exceed those in speed. There's sort of a hard cap as to how fast muscle fibers can activate, though far less of a cap when it comes to strength. One bad move, and quick fighter can be wasted on the spot by the stronger.
