[question] about m14 to m417

im sorry if this sound incredible naive and noob but i got a little question.

I readed on a few topics that only by renaming files you can change weps looks and RoF, but not damage.

My question is if i just rename m417 files to m14´s and replace cuold i get that fking awsome gun? whit RoF and looks of m417 and m14´s damage?

hi

u could do that.
u may schwitch the m14 to m417 files:

1. it will get the ROF of an M417
2. it will look like an M417
3. all other features will be like M14

The only Problem is:
to get this gun, u will have to buy a m14 ind the Combat arms store.

with switching rez files u may only change ROF and Skin
that means if u want a weapon with DMG of an g36, u have to get a g36 first and then u may change ROF and skin

haha tnx to everybody ill read and see what i can do cause a m14 whit more fire rate whould be nice i already tried a m417 mod for it but it only changed the skin so ill try any help would be apreciated lol

im guessing the problem u mencioned was that i have to get m417? so i can get the PVMLA file? since i dunno have nx nor rank enough ill have to wait since i do :P

I found a m4a1 mod to m417 so ill try to get the files from there

WE cannot change damage yet, its in attributs.rez and we can't decode the file sin it for edit them....

Uh he wanted a M14 to M417 not the other way around.anyway its already been done. You just have to extract the files and inject them into the updated rez file
