How to not get my main banned from hacking on other accounts

I bought an alt to hack on and I was wondering what I should do before switching accounts.

Nothing, steam doesn't care if you hack on other accounts, atleast never have made a difference for me.
They even say in their VAC Ban info message that if you want to play again just buy the game again on a new account.

i've heard of people getting banned by leaving the hack on while changing their accounts, and if you do get banned you should delete everything related to the hack, and delete the userdata.

U won't get ban except on the account you cheated on.

I usally don't chheat anymore (Last cheated November 2015) but you shouldn't login to your main while having the cheat on your computer and you should be fine.

yeah i'm pretty sure if you get VAC'd while in a family share, the other accounts will be locked, and the other accounts will be banned, too.
