    Which MotherBoard is better??

ASUS Z170-PRO GAMING ATX or MSI Z170A Gaming Pro CARBON ATX w/ Programmable Lighting

    "ASUS Z170-PRO GAMING ATX w/ USB 3.1, 3 PCIe x16, 3 PCIe x1, 1 SATA Express, 4 SATA3, 1 Ultra M.2"

    "MSI Z170A Gaming Pro CARBON ATX w/ Programmable Lighting, USB 3.1, 3 PCIe x16, 4 PCIe x1, 1 SATA Express, 4 SATA3, 1 Ultra M.2"

    I can't choose

    Also Which one is better?

    AMD Radeon R9 380 4GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card

    or

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 4GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 (Maxwell) (Single Card)

or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 (Maxwell) (Single Card)

I have a tight budget but I kinda want 960 though gaming isn't an issue but i hard 970 gtx has a issue on the ram or something.

Both of those motherboards have more than enough have really similar perks. MSI Gaming Pro Carbon is just a fancy version of the MSI Gaming Pro board. If the lightning isn't a must for you just go for the Asus board. Even if the boards are really similar Asus Z170 is among the best LGA1150 boards in terms of reviews.

Don't by R380. GTX960 outperforms R380, and GTX960 is cheaper card. If you have the money 970 is the best choice. The "ram issue" isn't a ram issue in 970. The card actually is more powerful when it uses just 3.5GB of the 4GB ram. On otherhand it is fixable if you want to access the full 4gb ram, but using 4gb ram without 4k is near impossible and 970 isn't a card you're going to use for 4k anyways so it isn't a problem. Majority of people understood wrong the case with 970's ram issue so probably everything you have heard is false.

I feel like the motherboards would just be up to you whether you wanted programmable lighting on it or not. Over the gpu side I suggest the 960. There was a rumor about there only being 3.5GB of VRAM instead of 4.

Like what many others have said, get the cheaper mobo or if you would like programmable lighting go with the MSI however what I personally recommend is getting the cheaper one because not many of these features are used and get a GTX960, if you have extra cash top it up to a 970 it's a great value for money card and it will be much better in the long run and works great in SLI.
