Its just for a select group that could get annoyed by that. Same when they do shit with plants or animals, biologists will get annoyed if not every detail is right. I think you should try and ignore those things, it'll make life easier

well it's the commands,

ARP is basically asking for Address resolution protocol. Getting certain addresses internal and maybe even external (not very familiar with that)
Then ping that adress I assume even though I'm not entirely sure it works like that.
And scan that ping... which I don't even know what that would do.

But basically a ping is just getting a short connection with an ip address to see how stable the connection is and such. That should never crack a door
