Should I buy the amd 7990 considering the price I'm getting it for?

Yeah. High power consumption (not effective either) expensive AF non optimized for mantel. I remember ASIC and BTC mining rush and the 6000 and 7000 series did over 100K sales while the 300 series was coming out. They then sold for like a fifth of their inflated price. Tl;dr Don't bother.

That's why I said not even if. Because the ole Raedon Series were so popular with BTC and ASIC now sellers are desperate to get rid.

I got it from one of my friends for $150 CAD, he needs to order them from his supplier though. His supplier seems pretty damn sketchy though, but he's gotten me a 980 ti before for $200 so I couldn't really care.

I don't understand why does it get so much hate,it is an amazing GPU,I have it for almost 3 years and it has ran without any problems.I can pretty much max every game with it right now.I have ligtning BE edition btw,and I would recommend it to everyone.

I would invest a bit more and get a more updated card. For example the 390x is pretty good.
