    Vinyl vs Digital

I was thinking about buying a turntable and start collecting vinyls. Does anyone has one or can recommend me one? And what about the difference in sound quality vs digital music

Did more research than what I had knowledge for and yeah, vinyls actually sound worse than digital. Just stick to digital.

How much money are you willing to throw at equipment? I can lay a plan out for ya.

You couldn't be more wrong, plus there's so much more that goes into it than just "x is better than y".

You can find lossless quality music everywhere. If you want good music search for flac files.

Depends. Do you already have a receiver, speakers, etc.? Or do you just need a turntable?

In order to even get close to the sound of records, you'd need 24-bit FLAC (which is about 800mb/album average). That's just CD quality.

Elaborate then? From my understanding, vinyls are worse due to lower frequencies, lower bass, and audio distortion. Overall I've found lossless FLAC 2.0 files to sound way better.

The other option is DTS 5.1 (assuming you have a full speaker setup) but that's lossy.

I'm at work atm, I'll pm you later for some help. I have some average speakers, could maybe upgrade.

Vinyl quality can be extremely good , but the problem is that they are phisicaly extremely fragile en require maitenance , if you are not an audiophile or somthing like this

i wouldn't recommend trying to get those

    just DL 100% legally ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) lossless FLAC files

You have to remember to curb your expectations, because while Vinyl has better overall quality, it's still technically converted from digital.

Record Analog Sound > Mix and Master into digital files > Press back into an analog record.

I think digital wins, because it goes from digital > vinyl so theoretically digital should be better, but I ain't no expert lol
