Hey guys ive been wondering something about the region block..

So i made an account in Jan,2015 from europe but changing my location to USA from that on i played a while but sometimes server kicked me out and stuff etc. I got bored and stuff like that. I left the account to rot for a while when i decided to come back i forgot to use vpn to login but somehow i still managed to log-in? If there is any logical reason why im not being region blocked anymore can someone explain it to me?

Same thing happened to me when I tried logging in CF EU; I didn't get blocked. The explanation for that is when you made your In Game Name on Crossfire NA using USA ip address, their system registers your IGN as someone from USA. Now, when you tried to log in again without using VPN, their system automatically knows that IGN as someone from USA ( even though you are using not VPN) and then it allows you into their game.

As far as I know it is impossible to play on their servers within restricted areas if your account wasn't created before August 2011. This might be wrong due to their (probably) cheap implementation of the region block.
