First Interaction and Got Scammed..

Hi guys!

I'm an old internet lurker lol, I'm interested in many IT stuff and have knowledge in many as well. I've came here to buy stuff more than to sell, but unfortunately I got scammed by the first guy I met here: hf.Kyle . This is very disappointing as I already know a guy how sells PSN accounts here and he is legit and trustworthy. But this scammer left a very bitter taste in my mouth and now I'm scared to buy anything from anyone here. Maybe I trust people too much or went first without confirming him first, but this just tells me that there are too many scammers lurking here and you've got to be careful. So sorry to discover this with the very first transaction I did here though, some welcome it is for me

This reminds me to extra careful. I usually read through their whole thread and then confirm on skype and here.

I did open a scam report right away, but he is non-responsive and probably won't ever reply. I was encouraged by his replies in his thread from respected members saying he did deliver what he was selling so I went for it. But I guess I still need to trade only with respected sellers. Vouches for new members still doesn't prove anything..

how did you pay? paypal? you can just charge back if you got scammed?

Unfortunately I paid him with buying amazon gift cards which he told me to buy from a website. If I was to chargeback I have to do it to that company.
