Combination of SVP and After Effect is probably the best imo.
I have sony vegas but it screwed up quite abit lately so i want to use something else which supports FLV files because sony vegas doesnt which is the sad part but when i convert the file the visual disappears and its just a green screen the whole time but back to the main point, is there any good video editors paid and free
Combination of SVP and After Effect is probably the best imo.

Try Hitfilm Express or Pro. You can pirate it ofc :P

Isn't that only OS X supported? Because vegas is only windows supported. So I doubt it'll be of any use to him.
That being said. U want to search for aflv supported video editor. Why does it matter which one? If it supports it and you are able to export it to any other file format, you can use vegas again
Windows movie maker is the best video editor in my opinion.
FCP is really good!

Premiere pro cc 2015.

Well if you wanna go more advanced than just cut and such editing, then I suggest to get Adobe premiere pro cc 2015 including adobe after effects cc 2015 (they even maybe 2016 now)..
And also be sure you're getting a dozen of Add-ons for your After Effects, cos they'll make your editing more "cooler"

If your Vegas doesn't support FLV file, then you're missing a codec for it.

Adobe after effects would be the best choice if you can have it.
Another good video editor is camtasia studio, I personally started with camtesia it's really easy to handle around and I am sure that it supports FLV files.
Hope this helps a bit
I prefer Final Cut Pro X
