Smoke Break Policies

Out of all the positions I've had, I've always been super annoyed that someone who smokes can go take a 5-10 minute break at any point during their shift. But someone who doesn't smoke can't take 5-10 minute breaks at any given time for no good god damn reason. Shit, even people who chew get to go shove tobacco in their mouths for the X amount of time it takes to absorb their shitty nicotine. No shame if you smoke or chew, but I really don't understand why most companies support a shitty habit.

It's like saying "I'm going to take a shit" and comes back 10 hours later because you played like Clash Royale, Clash of Clans, watched porn, etc.

Jesus Christ, here I thought I was alone with this shit haha. I watched two people in two different major positions at my restaurant just get up and leave today, to go smoke together. Everything fell apart because they've got a bad habit.

They know I don't smoke. I thought about getting some of that Jack Links dried up beef jerky shavings in a can, putting it in a old Skoal can and saying I chew. Or I could just not go through all the effort and do exactly what you said to do.
