I don't know if you are talking about school as in mid-school or high school... or university/college.

Because in school you really shouldn't use your phone. It actually is already really bad how socially disabled people have become. I've seen many people in a restaurant together both on the phone. A huge part of school is learning social matters. Phones are a general disrraction abd people will just go on facebook, mpgh or other online communicative matters. Ipad? Sure, as long as it has no whatsapp, facebook or other jonsense. Just educational purposes.

My highschool has macbook room, 2 computer labs with an engineering and design room and woodshop where we just 3d printed an electric guitar that changes color, were crazy about technology, I don't find them to be distracting I just think that people misuse them as they can be extremely educational if the electronics are used right.

For me, technology in the classroom helps me a lot.
I can type 5x faster than I can write, so I'm able to take notes faster. Since I'm able to take notes faster, I can ask more questions and take more information in, which helps me understand it a lot more.

Same here, I can type faster than I can write. For me at least I noticed I don't retain anything I type up. In the end, the exam in written, not typed.
