so if i were to buy vpn would wserver and server have to be running on my computer? whats the point of getting vpn if thats the case my not just use hamachi?

1) Need Hamachi
2) Free Slot Space
3) Need to annoyingly get the room name and password
4) Must be on an Operating System that supports Hamachi
5) Hamachi slightly revels personal information(even tho you always do on the internet(ip wise))

VPS Requirments
:1) Money(unless you leeching from a filehoster)
2) None
3) None
4) None
5) The Client....I don't know there really isn't any downsides or requirements

VPS Pros & Cons:

1) Everything but money

:1) Hamachi is slightly faster then the cheapest VPS

If you have the money then VPS > Hamachi

if you are poor then Hamachi is your only choice unless you filehost leech

Hamachi limits the amount of players who can connect to your server.
You basically just go on the vps, set up source on vps like you would on your personal desktop, download xampp, import struct, edit configuration files, and run server.exe and wserver.exe on vps, and then edit client IP to vps IP and all works from there.
A vps is just a computer you can log onto remotely that has all ports forwarded (aka so people can connect to them)

no you don't need a server.

A vps is easier to handle than Hamachi in my opinion. It's easier to set up. If you use Hamachi, and there aren't enough rooms, players would complain.
