Im pretty sure Mw uses the Quake engine but i heard someone say Mw2 runs on Quake2..
Its suprising how much of the old quake is left in the game. Especially when the old ^0 and ^2 and crap still work.

Mw2 don't run on Quake2 Lol thats a load of bs.. I'm gunna find an injector now to test
