Most homeless have mental issues and/or drug addictions that cause their homelessness. Giving most of them a large sum of money will not better their situation, but instead give them enough money to drink and/or overdose themselves to death. Not to say that some wouldn't use it to get their lives on track, but thinking in these sweeping generalities is both ignorant and dangerous.

I remember when someone from my school made it onto The Voice, I decided to look into it. There were some singers there that I just couldn't watch tbh. But Grimmie was something else. I loved her singing. And so, I decided to look up her youtube channel and listen to all her covers of the songs I knew and some of them were pretty awesome. Also, I hear she played Smash and League and I like gamers even more. On top of that, she has such a friendly personality and she's really cute. When I heard that she got shot and died, it was just really sad. One of the last people I would have thought would be a victim of gun violence. It's a sad thought that her videos will no longer randomly appear in my subscriptions every now and then. Rest in peace Grimmie.
